Are Brands Losing Customers by Making Their Websites Too Complicated?
Have you ever gone to a website. Then left because it was hard to find what you were looking for? I think this happens often than people think.
Some websites have a lot of pop-ups, confusing menus and many steps to make a purchase. Of making it easy for customers these things can make the experience annoying.
For example think about when you want to buy something. You have to make an account fill out a long form and close a bunch of pop-ups before you can finish your order. You might just leave the website. Go somewhere else.
In marketing bringing people to a website is important but keeping them there is just as important. A website should make it easier for customers not make things harder.
I think a simple website, with information, easy navigation and a smooth checkout process can make a big difference. Customers should be able to find what they want without wasting time.
Course a website does not need to look plain to be successful. It just needs to be easy to use.
What do you think? Have you ever left a website because it was too complicated to use?
