Are you a passionate PHP developer with a love for building dynamic, robust, and scalable web applications? Prime One Global is looking for a PHP Developer (Laravel) to bring creativity, innovation, and technical expertise to our growing team. TThis full-time, on-site role is available at our offices in Colombo, Vavuniya, and Jaffna. The PHP Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, software development, and programming tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework and PHP.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to develop and deploy new features.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Integrate front-end components and third-party services to enhance functionality.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure all code meets established standards.
- Stay up-to-date with new trends and advancements in web development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in PHP development with a focus on the Laravel framework.
- Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases and a strong understanding of database design and optimization.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as Vue.js or React (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure or other cloud-based services.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
