Which is the best TLD for a website targeting only a specific country?
Is it better to use either a Generic TLDs(‘.com’, ‘.net’, and ‘.org’ or a specific Country-code TLDs (‘.uk’, ‘.au’ (Australia), and ‘.jp’ (Japan)), when our target viewers belong only to a specific country?
I think, even if our target viewers are only from a particular country, it’s better to use both the Generic TLDs and the Country-code TLDs. Why I say so is, if we use only the Country-code TLDs, and someone else uses the Generic TLDs (eg:.com) for the same domain, the viewer will get confused. Also, later if we want to expand our country-based viewers, using the Generic TLDs will be useful. We can keep the website on the Country-code TLDs domain and add the redirection Global TLD (.com, etc..) domain. So, using both TLDs is better

I agreed with you in this scenario. This approach will be highly beneficial in business, however, a particularly long or heavy (domain)name may be more difficult to recall. If we pick a short and easily remembered domain name, we may make a more lasting impact.
