What Makes You Unique in Your Workplace?

Belonging to the workplace is an employee’s sense that their uniqueness is accepted and even treasured by their organization and colleagues. Day-to-day experiences enable them to feel safe and bring their full unique self to work.

Belonging is not simply that employees feel appreciated for the work they do or the role they play in the organization very deeper and need to feel that he or she should be treated as an “insider”, and are encouraged to showcase their uniqueness within the workplace and feel a high level of belonging at the workplace. Employees are close cousins to diversity and inclusion. There are some factors that help to identify the unique role;

1. Good Communicator and easy to relate with other people.

Mentioning a personality trait to feel that he/she good fit for the business. Allow your self-display with the business role, and build strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse group of people. Effective Communication is important to carry out your business role and personal role within the firm as well.

2. New learning opportunities and enjoying new learning.

Need to develop a passion for learning new things, put your attention towards growth-focused and be unafraid of challenges. Get the awareness to have more prior experience in the industry. (proving your desire to exceed expectations of the job quickly)

3. Prior Experience in customer service.

An opportunity to explain how your background uniquely qualifies you. Candidate he/ she is able to alleviate concerns the interviewer might have with your lack of experience within the field. Having extensive knowledge base for how our product works.

4. Not afraid of failure (Experimental process).

The candidate he/ she not afraid to take risks. Need to say Yes and take responsibility to reinforce the importance of failure in the workplace.

You will stand out if you mention how you turned a failure into success.

Showing your capability of remaining flexible and open-minded when something doesn’t work right away, and knowing how to take failures and use them as learning opportunities. (a critical skill for any work environment)

5. Learn to Solve Problems.

Learning how to come up with the mind reading for problem-solving in some tight situations, but handling problems in different strategies will help to easily diagnose the solution toward it in a healthy manner. Most of mankind either use logic and use analytics to solve problems and emotions with creative thinking mind capacity.
