Job Description

Are you an experienced and results-driven individual looking for a new opportunity in Finance sector? We are seeking for an experienced, highly motivated, and dynamic professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with standard end-to-end financial processes such as month-end close, analysis, and reporting
  • Summarize and prepare monthly, and quarterly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, balance sheet statements, and other necessary reports
  • Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over business activities
  • Planning and controlling of company’s working capital requirement
  • Providing financial information to management by analyzing the accounting data and submission of accurate, timely information for budget presentations.
  • Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools.
  • Comparison of actual performance against the budget, identifying and analyzing variances, and implementation of necessary action to manage/ improve variances.
  • Handling Payroll of staffs

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance / Fully or Partly qualified in professional accountancy qualification (CASL/ACCA/CIMA/CMA).
  • Minimum of one year experience in the similar capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good time management skills.
  • Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools.
  • Hands-on experience in XERO is Mandatory

Job Details and Terms

  • This is a hybrid job opportunity, where you have to work 75% at the Vavuniya office and 25% can be remote ( based on the management decision)
  • Accommodation, 3 basic meals are absolutely free during the working days.
  • Standard working hours are 8.30 AM-5.30 PM on weekdays and 8.30 AM – 1.30 PM Saturdays.
  • Since the company is focusing on global expansion, you may have to proceed with onsite jobs in another country if the management is requesting.
