Do you prefer working solo or as a team? Why?

This is one of those questions where the answer cannot simply be one or the other.  As an IT team we aim to collaborate and develop software. But we all want to work solo on our role. As a creative designer, I naturally lean more toward working solo. 

Because it’s easy for me to have space to think, plan and execute ideas without constant interruption. I can listen to calm music, set my own pace, and focus deeply without worrying about aligning every little decision with others in real time.

But everyone needs balance. How?

While I enjoy working solo, I still value team collaboration deeply. Our team projects are not about doing things together. They are about learning from each other. Whether it’s a quick feedback session, combining ideas from different perspectives, those moments are really helpful to get final output. 

For example, developers sometimes have great design ideas. Discussing a logo concept with them can lead to even more creative outcomes in the final design. 

Finally I have realized that collaboration doesn’t mean giving up creative freedom. It means elevating it with more brains and energy.
