π¨ Important Update: Changes Coming to Facebook Profiles! π¨
Starting December 13th, Facebook is streamlining user profiles by removing the “Hobbies” listings. While this might not have a huge impact, it’s worth noting the adjustment.
Surprise! You can actually add hobbies to your Facebook profile. This feature helps connect you with Pages and people who share similar interests. According to Meta, “You can add hobbies to your Facebook profile to express yourself and find friends who share similar interests. The hobbies you select are always public, and you can add as many as you’d like.”
Despite being available since 2019, many users might not be aware of this feature, and it seems Facebook has decided to retire it. If you’ve added hobbies and want to download associated data, it’s advised to do so in the next couple of weeks before it disappears.
Hello Vishnu, Thanks for letting me know about Facebook removing ‘Hobbies’ from user profiles. I had no idea about this feature, so I’m glad you brought it to my attention.
Hey Vishnukanth,
Thanks for the heads-up! It’s interesting to see Facebook streamlining profiles. While the ‘Hobbies’ feature might not be a game-changer for everyone, it’s a reminder of how platforms evolve. Did you use this feature? Any thoughts on how these changes might shape user experiences?
