Will AI Chatbots Reduce or Create More Work for IT Teams?
These days AI chatbots are becoming very popular in the IT field. They are very supportive for answering any question, generating images and writing codes also. Therefore, it is very helpful to IT workflows. But the real question is here Are they really reducing work for teams or are they just shifting the type of work we do?
Let’s see how it works on whole IT process;
Developers – when working on software development, developers can generate basic codes, debug errors and request improvements of code. But reviewing, customizing and maintaining that code? It might speed things up, but are all correct?
Designers – Some AI based tools now generate entire layouts or suggest UI flows. That’s amazing. But it doesn’t replace real designer thinking. Designers save time on wireframes. But sometimes I spent more time refining AI generated ideas.
Content Writers – AI can draft contents but is it relative for brand and real human idea always? Writers always use AI suggestions. But, it takes too much time to edit and personalize content.
So, does AI reduce work?
In some ways the answer is yes. But in other ways, it changes the work. From doing all manually to reviewing, managing and improving AI generated output.
