When Web 2.0 moves to Web 3.0, what changes are going to happen in SEO?

Right now in Web 2.0, we use traditional SEO methods like:

  • Link building

  • Keyword research

  • Meta titles and descriptions

  • Content with targeted keywords

Currently, we give the highest priority to Google search engine because most people use it—and it’s a centralized platform.

But the world is now moving toward Web 3.0, where things are becoming decentralized. I believe one of Google’s biggest assets is the information it has about us.

In a Web 3.0 environment, with decentralization and blockchain, user information will be kept private. As a result, people may start moving toward safer, privacy-focused platforms.

This means search engines may change, and we will need to adapt to the algorithms of these new systems. We’ll also need to follow new SEO tactics.

So here’s my doubt:

What changes should we make to our traditional SEO methods like link building, keyword research, meta titles/descriptions, and keyword-rich content?

And what new skills do we need to develop to stay effective in the Web 3.0 SEO landscape?
