Latest Release on Google Bard – Integrates with Google Apps
Google Announced New Updates to its Chatbot “Bard” today. Google states that;
“Today we’re rolling out Bard’s most capable model yet. Bard now integrates with Google apps and services for more helpful responses. We’ve also improved the “Google it” feature to double-check Bard’s answers and expanded features to more places.”
Highlights of the update:
- Google Launches Bard Extensions
Today Google launches Bard extension in English which integrates with Google Apps and Services. This Bard extension allows you to find and show the relevant information from our daily use Google tools; Gmail, Docs, Drive, Google Maps, YouTube, and Google Flights and Hotels.
For example, if you are planning for a abroad trip to Europe; now you can plan your trip easily without accessing multiple tabs in Chrome. Yes with this new update, you can now ask Bard to find the dates that work for everyone from Gmail, search for flight and hotel information, view Google Maps directions to the airport, and also can watch YouTube videos to find the things to do in the trip – all these can be done under one roof.
- Advancement in “Google it” button
From today onwards Google will provide a Google it button to double-check the responses provided by Bard. When you click on the Google it button Bard will read the response and evaluate whether there is content across the web to substantiate it. Meantime you can click the highlighted phrases and learn more information related to it.
- Chat collaboration on Bard
Starting from today Bard can allow you to build on shared conversations. if someone shares a public link of Bard chat, you can continue the conversation and ask for additional information related to that topic.
Google is also expanding access to existing English language features to more than 40 languages;
- Ability to upload images with lens
- Get search images in responses
- Modify Bard’s responses
