Is Cybersecurity Important for Everyone or Only for Businesses?

• I think that all people, not only businesses, should be concerned with cybersecurity. In the modern world, the majority of the population banks, shops, studies or even just chat with friends over the internet. We post personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, and passwords on the Internet. Without securing this information, then hackers are able to steal it and create severe issues.
• The risks are even greater as far as businesses are concerned. One attack is enough to reveal customer information, halt business and ruin confidence. Still, such phenomena as identity theft, scams, or online fraud are real threats even to individuals. Things such as the correct use of passwords, the application of two-factor authentication, and avoidance of suspicious links can go a long way.
• I think that the concept of cybersecurity must be considered as part of fundamental skills of life in the digital era. We have to secure our devices and accounts just the way we lock our houses to ensure our safety. Cyber threats are increasing rapidly and so is technology. When we become serious about security, then individuals and companies can use the technology without hesitation.
