Job Description

As a Junior Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing websites from start to finish using various CMS platforms like WordPress, PHP scripts, Drupal, and OpenCart. You will work closely with our teams to ensure web projects timely and high-quality delivery. Your role will involve front-end and back-end development, including server management, troubleshooting, and debugging to optimize performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes/templates according to client specifications and design requirements.
  • Implement frontend enhancements and interactions using custom CSS & PHP (when necessary). 
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Stay updated with the latest web technologies and trends.
  • Work with websites and block builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg Editor, etc.), themes, templates, and plugins.
  • Knowledge of WordPress hooks, child themes, and WordPress core will be advantageous.
  • Deploy projects on no-code platforms like Webflow and Bubble.io.
  • Ability to travel and work hybrid mode as per needs.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in English, both writing and speaking.
  • Strong programming knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with WordPress, Drupal, and OpenCart.
  • Familiarity with server management and backend development.
  • Self-learner, innovative, and good at research.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to hitting deadlines.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn new things quickly.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Committed and flexible for on-demand work for dynamic project requirements.
