Today I have read a blog about Google AIO Is Sending More Traffic To YouTube in Search Engine Journal.

According to this blog, Bright Edge’s data shows that YouTube’s presence in Google’s AIO has seen a significant increase. There was a 21% increase since January 1st and a 36.66% month-over-month growth from January to February. It suggests that Google’s AI is becoming more expert at integrating multimedia content, especially videos, into the search results.

Below I have mentioned the types of videos that get the most attention:

• Instructional Content (31.2%): queries like “how-to” leading at 22.4%
• Visual Demonstrations (28.5%): Physical techniques, style guides
• Verification/Examples (19.7%): Product comparisons, visual proof
• Current Events (8.2%): Breaking news, live coverage

Bright Edge’s data shows that Google’s AI is now showing more YouTube videos in search results topics like healthcare and eCommerce. It means audiences lean towards visual answers instead of plain text.

This means it highlights two main things,

• For content creators, the importance of optimizing video content for search visibility.
• For the Audience, it means getting more interactive and visually rich information directly from search queries.
