The Pomodoro technique is a time management system, that was founded by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980’s. This method is dependent on 25-minute stretches of focused work breaks by 5 minutes.
Pomodoro techniques help the individual to work more efficiently let see How it works
- Decide on the task to be done
- set the timer for 25 minutes
- work on the task until the time rings
- Take a 5-minute break, that is 1 Pomodoro
- Repeat the step from 1-4 until you complete four pomodoros.
- Take a long break (15-30 minutes)
- Go back to step 1 and start a new cycle.
For each Pomodoro, Reset time for a recap and review to help move from one Pomodoro to the next. Most importantly, take whatever steps you need to focus on the task during the Pomodoro and avoid distractions like social media accounts or any other that can pull attention from you on the tasks.
A different implementation of the Pomodoro techniques uses a variety of intervals for the task break segments. For the breaks, It’s strongly advised the individuals select an activity that contrasts with the task.
