Anyone know the difference between keyword density and keyword proximity?

As we all know, while the content writing or content publishing we must focus on the keywords. Because without keywords we can’t expect the good result from the search engine. and at the same time if our content has the keyword stuffing, definitely search engine want to consider our site.

Now my question is I need to know the difference between keyword density and keyword proximity.
